Vancouver Sun – Live Roundtable: What’s the best place to get ice cream in Metro Vancouver?
It’s ice cream season in Vancouver, otherwise known as summer. The heat is on, which means it’s time to find strategies to beat it, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a better one — or, at least, a more delicious one — than an ice cream cone.
Don’t give me any guff about ice cream in a cup, by the way. The only acceptable way to eat ice cream is scooped onto a cone, waffle wherever possible, and I will fight anyone who disagrees. Now, granted, my body stopped making lactase a few years back so this suddenly lactose intolerant journalist can’t eat ice cream anymore, but at least I have sorbetto (also known as sorbet, or sherbet, but definitely not sherbert, which sounds like a muppet) to fill the void.
